“WALK THE LINE”

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine
I keep my eyes wide open all the time.
I keep the ends out for the tie that binds
Because you're mine,
I walk the line
I find it very, very easy to be true
I find myself alone when each day is through
Yes, i'll admit i'm a fool for you
Because you're mine,
I walk the line
As sure as night is dark and day is light
I keep you on my mind both day and night
And happiness i've known proves that it's right
Because you're mine,
I walk the line
You've got a way to keep me on your side
You give me cause for love that i can't hide
For you i know i'd even try to turn the tide
Because you're mine,
I walk the line

“RING OF FIRE”

Love is a burnin' thing,
and it makes a fiery ring
bound by wild desire --
i fell into a ring of fire.
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire --
i went down, down, down
and the flames went higher,
and it burns, burn, burns,
the ring of fir, the ring of fire.
The taste of love is sweet
when hearts like ours meet.
i fell for you like a child --
oh, but the fire ran wild.
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire --
i went down, down, down
and the flames went higher,
and it burns, burn, burns,
the ring of fir, the ring of fire.
I fell into a burnin' ring of fire --
i went down, down, down,
and the flames went higher,
and it burns, burn, burns,
the ring of fir, the ring of fire.
The ring of fire (and fade)

“FOLSOM PRISON´S BLUES”

I hear the train a comin'
it's rollin' 'round the bend,
and i ain't seen the sunshine,
since, i don't know when,
i'm stuck in folsom prison,
and time keeps draggin' on,
but that train keeps a-rollin',
on down to san antone.
When i was just a baby,
my mama told me, "son,
always be a good boy,
don't ever play with guns,"
but i shot a man in reno,
just to watch him die,
when i hear that whistle blowin',
i hang my head and cry.
I bet there's rich folks eatin',
in a fancy dining car,
they're probably drinkin' coffee,
and smokin' big cigars,
but i know i had it comin',
i know i can't be free,
but those people keep a-movin',
and that's what tortures me.
Well, if they freed me from this prison,
if that railroad train was mine,
i bet i'd move out over a little,
farther down the line,
far from folsom prison,
that's where i want to stay,
and i'd let that lonesome whistle,
blow my blues away
