Pero no hay duda de que su estancia en la costa azul francesa en 1972 para grabar Exile on the main street (tras su exitoso Sticky Fingers) constituye una de las cumbres de la mitología stoniana. Si las paredes hablaran... ... nos hablarían de drogas, vino francés, música a altas hora de la mañana, sexo, camellos, intelectuales, Gram Parsons, John y Yoko, groupies, tabaco, alcohol, policías... Todo ello a la vez y al mismo tiempo en Villa Nellcôte, la casa que decidieron alquilar Keith Richards y Anita Pallemberg en la costa azul y que acabó conviertiéndose en el centro de operaciones de todo el circo que rodeaba a los Stones y que podía incluir desde la refinada Bianca Jagger, hasta el yonqui más tirado. Más de un pijo francés se asustaría de verdad al ver semejante troupe entregada a todo tipo de excesos. <IMG class=imgcen height=233 src="http://www.espacioblog.com/myfiles/elenamerin/nellcote_villa.jpg" width=320>Las canciones se improvisaban a cualquier hora del día, suponemos que cuando Keith Richards y Anita hacían un stop entre pico y pico, pues en aquella época ambos estaban más que enganchados a la heroína. Sin embargo, pese al constante cuelgue de Richards, él fue uno de los principales impulsores de Exile on the main street, puesto que en la costa azul francesa también tuvo tiempo a empaparse de música (principalmente country) gracias a los conocimientos de otro músico descarriado y que posteriormente acabaría hecho cenizas en el desierto de Joshua Tree: Gram Parsons. Tal cuelgue bohemio daría como resultado el ya citado disco, en el que los stones definitivamente apostaban por el rock and roll y, por qué no decirlo, una colección de fotografías capaz de despertar el imaginario más hedonista de cualquier fan de lo que al principio hemos señalado como "glamour rockero": chicas rubias bailando desnudas y retozando con cualquier mozo, Mick Jagger ejerciendo de tipo cool, música a todas horas, y ahí en una esquina Keith Richards con la camisa abierta encendiéndose un pitillo. Por una sencilla razón, la edad de ellos.... tengo miedo, cada despedida....en fin, creo que es facil de comprender. En cuanto a estar solo, SIN PROBLEMAS, de eso SE MUCHO, SOY UN AUTÉNTICO VETERANO. Lo que ocurre es que, al contrario que en otros tiempos, ahora, al estar solo, ME COMO MAS EL COCO. Y para colmo, aunque parezca, Y SEGURAMENTE LO ES, una completa gilipollez, todo lo que me ha estado pasando en internet, y sobre todo en esta página, durante el último mes (mas o menos), me ha quemado mucho. Ah, y además.......que coño, que....que no se me pasa lo de cierta "personita" a la que sigo queriendo mucho a pesar de que, eso está cada vez mas claro, jamás volveré a tener noticias suyas. En fin, estos últimos dias, encima de entrar poco, HE ESTADO MAS BORDE DE LO QUE NUNCA HE ESTADO (Y SE QUE HE SIDO BORDE MUCHISIMAS VECES), y APARTE DE PEDIR PERDÓN A UN MONTÓN DE GENTE QUE ME HA APOYADO Y QUE NO SE MERECE DICHA "BORDEZ" (ya le acabo de meter al diccionario otra patada en el higado, eso es INCORRECTO), no se que mas decir. De momento, algo de humor y algo de música, y a ver como se da el lunes. Eso sí, está mi vicio futbolero, es decir, que el partido de esta noche, AUSTRIA - ALEMANIA, lo pienso ver. Entre las pautas de conducta a seguir por todo militante se encuentran el sentimiento del deber, lealtad y honor hacia el Jefe de la banda; no temer a la muerte, vivir intensamente, conducir rápido, morir joven, respetar a todas las mujeres del grupo que no sean de su propiedad y pagar religiosamente la cuota. Y dentro de su particular Constitución existe un apartado dedicado al papel que debe desempeñar la mujer en un “contexto” de igualdad entre sexos: el derecho de las féminas se llama sumisión y su pretendida igualdad es la de una esclava sexual. Si es que existen... <img src="http://www.lacoctelera.com/myfiles/peperoncino/TUW-Battle-of-the-Bands-invitation-%5B450x400%5D.jpg" id="img_1" class="imgizqda" height="399" width="237">Los rockeros se manejaban en otros tiempos con otros códigos, las luchas entre las bandas, muchas veces era en el afán de publicitarse y otras de manera verídica, donde casi siempre el ego rocker era el protagonista, fueron parte de la historia desde el comienzo mismo de la música. Sin embargo, las historias de pica forman parte del diccionario del rock. “El rockero debe ir al frente contra viento y marea o dejar de ser rockero”, podría ser la premisa. Todo un lema relacionado a un estilo de vida contestatario: Para mi el rock siempre fue un canal para expresar la rebeldía de las masas, una suerte de desencadenamiento de la clase opresora, como por ejemplo lo fue el blues para los esclavos negros desarraigados de su tierra. El objeto de este articulo es discutir sobre música y lo que está alrededor de ella, en un marco de respeto (que es común a todas las áreas del blog), siempre que eso significa estar dispuesto a escuchar a los demás. Muchas veces, "escuchar" significa "abrir la cabeza". La intención no es que cada uno se ponga a defender a su artista (mi intención no es esa), aunque puede hacerlo si su argumento se sustenta bajo lo que dice, sino sencillamente es recopilar distintas rivalidades que hubo en la historia del rock. La mas conocida: The Beatles Vs Rolling Stones La tan promocionada rivalidad entre los Beatles y los Rolling Stones nunca fue más que un invento de la prensa. De hecho, compartían salidas nocturnas y hasta colaboraron artísticamente más de una vez (Lennon y McCartney le prestaron a Jagger y Richards “I wanna be your man” y estos devolvieron la gentileza haciendo coros en “All you need is love”). Ahora, la relación entre ambos grupos acaba de sumar un nuevo capítulo: se descubrió un video en el que George Harrison y Ringo Starr hacen una versión de“Jumpin’ Jack Flash”, clásico de los Stones. Yo me identifico simpatizante de los dos,pero a mi me tira mas el lado Stones,por cosas personales y musicales, aunque sean como sean cada uno... Espero sus aportes y comentarios al respecto.
